The Guardian Angel Benefit for Women’s Cancer is dedicated to finding a cure for women’s cancers by funding innovative research, treatment and care.
The gala evening included speakers and fashion show featuring cancer survivors gracing the pink runway.
We were proud support the 28th annual Guardian Angel benefit at the RBC Convention Centre.
More about the Guardian Angel Benefit:
Since the inaugural event in 1992, donors and sponsors have made it possible to raise nearly $8 million through the Guardian Angel Benefit. All of these funds remain in Manitoba and have enabled the establishment and operation of the Guardian Angel Caring Room, the offering of vital programs at CancerCare Manitoba through the Patient and Family Resource Centre, personalized patient support at the CancerCare Manitoba’s Breast and Gyne Centre of Hope and the mobile mammography program. Donor generosity continues to change the cancer journey for Manitoba women and their families.

The event was presented by Pratts Wholesale Food Service, with guest speaker Catherine Wreford Ledlow (Former Broadway & Royal Winnipeg Ballet performer), and Emcee Joe Aiello.
“The Never Alone Foundation is here to assist cancer patients and their families in their time of need. We pride ourselves on delivering as much support as we can, as fast as we can.”
What is the Never Alone Foundation?
From revitalizing the rooms of a palliative care unit and a blood and marrow unit to providing funds to stage a puppet program to explain the effects of cancer to children, the Never Alone Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. Never Alone Foundation also provides gift baskets, food and gas gift certificates, books, advice on who to contact for other services and more importantly to simply lend an ear and the opportunity to talk with someone who has gone through this same journey.
